With the evolution of technology, human society has become able to produce major changes in habitat by creating large-scale engineering constructions: roads, highways, dams, bridges, viaducts, high-rise buildings. The action of land and building monitoring consists in determination of the observed objective behavior over time, action applied during the entire life cycle, starting from the moment of execution and ending with the end of life of the objective. Monitoring represents an activity of collecting, interpreting the information resulting from observation and measurements performed in order to determine changes in position over time so as to ensure stability and operational safety.

The introduction of systematic cadastre in Romania represents a project entitled "National Cadastre and Land Registration Programme", developed at a national level since 2015. The period for the National Cadastre and Land Registration is from 2015 to 2023 and it aims at the systematic registration of buildings in 2337 LAUs located in rural and urban areas. The objective is to register buildings in the integrated cadastre and land registration system, tax-free, accompanied by the issue of certificates for the registration of owners.

Due to technology development, stages of preparation and registration of cadastral documentation by public institutions in the field of cadastre suffered major modifications, being transmitted largely by these institutions in an electronic format. The cadastral documentation contains all the technical, legal and administrative documents necessary for the registration of the real estate in the integrated system of cadastre and land book, through which the real situation, from the field, of the real estate, is the subject of the respective work. Cadastral documentation is prepared based on Order no.700/2014 with subsequent amendments and completions, issued by the Romanian National Agency for Cadastre and Real Estate Advertising. The Eterra application is a program currently used for the purpose of registering these technical documents and is the way to obtain a lot of documents and information regarding the real estates for which the cadastral documentations were elaborated.

During their studies in the field of Urbanism and Spatial Planning, Romanian students must acquire theoretical and practical knowledge in the chosen field. This paper proposes the use of computer games or other computer applications specially created, to support teaching in the field of spatial planning and urbanism. Computer games can be a plus in developing students visual and spatial logic, critical thinking, management and problems solving, well as practicing theoretical knowledge in the field of interest, starting from certain required topics or exercises.

According to INS data, in 2017, a total of 9,978,886 people in Romania had homes connected to sewer systems, representing 50.8% of the resident population. Regarding the treatment of wastewater, the population connected to the sewerage systems that included sewage treatment plants totalled 9,710,077 people, representing 49.4% of the resident population of the country. For the localities over 2000 inhabitants, to obtain financing, rural agglomerations were created artificially (commune and afferent villages). For these, systems have been designed and built, with sewer lengths that include the distances between communes and villages, often tens of kilometres. The number of communes in which the share of households connected to existing sewerage networks is below the 5% threshold, mainly due to connection costs and wastewater charges. Also, the resident population in these localities has decreased in the last ten years by more than 20%. As such, the costs of these projects will not allow the revenues generated by water companies to ensure the sustainability of the newly built infrastructure.

With the advent of humanity in the digital age, the technology industry has seen an amazing development that now brings the user a wide range of useful applications, some of which can be used successfully in the field of modern topography. In this article, we set out to present some considerations on topographic applications developed in the field of smartphones.

This paper is based on theoretical and practical aspects in the field of Mining Topography works. Through this work we want to present the topographic documentation for the design phase of some works for the execution of two vertical boreholes, boreholes requested by the specialized designer. The paper will present the sequence of work steps that will necessarily consider the rules and technical instructions in force as well as the determinations required by the designer.
